Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally 2021:Assam Rifles has invited applications for the Meritorious Players Quota Recruitment Rally 2021. Based on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation across the country, the recruitment rally will start from 24th August, which will be held tentatively at different places. The online application process is going on and the last date to apply is 26th July.

Office of the Director General Assam Rifles can apply online for recruitment to the post of Rifleman or Rifle Women General Duty under Meritorious Players Recruitment Scheme from 26 June. All interested and eligible candidates can apply assamrifles.gov.in Submit through online mode.

Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 131 vacancies. Out of 131 vacancies, 75 vacancies are for males and 56 vacancies are for females. Admit card will be generated along with filling the application form to the eligible candidates applying for the recruitment rally.

Who can apply?
To apply for the post of Rifleman or Rifle Women General Duty, the candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board. In addition, sportspersons who have participated in any international competition / national competition / inter-university tournament / national sports / sports for schools, national award winners in the National Physical Efficiency Campaign can apply.

Age Range
Eligible candidates age limit should be minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 01 August 2021. There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Application fee
General and OBC categories candidates have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. SC/ ST and women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

how to apply?
Candidates can apply online through the official website of Assam Rifles given above. After submission of online application form, candidates have to deposit the application fee through online payment mode or alternatively the payment can also be done at any SBI counter. In both the cases, candidates have to upload a copy of the receipt or challan online.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through Physical Standard Test (PST), Field Test in respective sports and Medical Examination at their own risk and expense. Injuries caused by Tests during the rally concerned will not be compensated in any case by the Government or the Assam Rifles.
