Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2022 Latest Update: The Education Department of Bihar Government has fixed the date for giving appointment letters to the primary teachers. The Education Department has said that appointment letters will be handed over to all the primary teachers on February 25 itself. It has been clearly stated in the letter issued by the department that in any case, the verification of the certificate will be completed before February 25.

Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Sanjay Kumar has directed all the District Education Officers to complete the verification of certificates of selected candidates for the post of teachers in primary schools of the state by the third week of February. It has been said by the government that if the verification is not done within the stipulated time frame, action can also be taken against the District Education Officer.

It has also been said in the letter that the status of verification is not good in Patna, Saran and Purnea divisions. More than 38 thousand candidates have been selected in two rounds of counseling for the sixth phase of primary teacher recruitment in the month of August, but even after a lapse of about 6 months, they have not yet received the appointment letter. In this regard, the employed teacher candidate had also staged a sit-in demonstration at many places, as well as a campaign was launched on Twitter.

The process of counseling is already going on for the recruitment of 90 thousand 762 posts of elementary schools. Under this, 38 thousand teachers have been selected in the last two rounds of counseling. Two rounds of counseling were held in July and August. In this sequence, the process of counseling for the third round is to be completed by January 28, in which 12495 posts are to be appointed. In this way, including 38 thousand already selected candidates, about 50 thousand are expected to get appointment letters.

Regarding the distribution of appointment letters on February 25, once again the Education Department has directed all the districts to compulsorily get the verification of the academic and training certificates of the selected candidates done before the scheduled date of the third week of February.
