12th pass candidates from any recognized board can apply for the post of Postal or Shorting Assistant. Apart from this, Basic Computer Course Certificate or 10th or 12th in one of the subjects if computer is available. At the same time, to apply for the post of Multi Tasking Staff, one should have 10th pass and knowledge of regional language.

Age Limit
To apply for the posts of Postal Assistant and Shortening Assistant in Punjab Postal Circle Postal Department Recruitment 2021 (India Post Recruitment 2021), the age of eligible candidates should be at least 18 years and maximum up to 27 years. Postal Assistant & Shortening Assistant: Under Pay Matrix Level-4 (Revised Pay Rules 2016) from Rs.25500 to Rs.81100.
Multi Tasking Staff: Rs 18000 to Rs 56900 under Pay Matrix Level-1.
