Police Constable Recruitment 2021 Details
A total of 4358 vacancies will be filled for constable posts in the state through this recruitment drive by Punjab Police, which includes 2015 posts in District Police Cadre and 2343 posts in Punjab Police Armed Cadre.

12th pass apply
To apply for Punjab Police Constable Posts, one must have passed 12th (10+2) examination from recognized board. Also, candidates must have passed class 10 i.e. up to matriculation in Punjabi subject.

Age Range
Candidates age limit should not be less than 18 years and not more than 28 years as on January 1, 2021. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government norms.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of two stages. The first stage will be objective type written test. In written test – Questions will be asked from Maths or Reasoning or Logical Ability, Language Skills (Punjabi/English), Basic Computer Knowledge, Current Affairs and General Knowledge of India, Constitution of India and Institution of Indian Criminal Justice System etc. The second stage, consists of Document Scrutiny, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST).
