Who can apply?
To apply for the post of Sub Inspector (Investigation Cadre), Sub Inspector (Armed Police Cadre) and Sub Inspector (District Police Cadre), a candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or its equivalent. Whereas for Sub Inspector (Intelligence Officer) recognized Graduation Degree along with ‘O’ Level Certificate in Information Technology from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) or (DOEACC). Age Range
Eligible candidates age limit As on 1st January 2021, the candidate should have attained the age of 18 years but not more than 28 years.

Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates for Punjab Police SI Recruitment 2021 will be through a two stage process consisting of Phase I: Computer Based Test consisting of two Multiple Choice Question Papers to be conducted on the same day. Whereas the second stage will be on the basis of Document Verification, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST).

When and how will the recruitment exam be?
The written exam for Punjab Police SI Recruitment 2021 will be conducted from August 17 to August 31. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of two papers of 2 hours duration consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. Four marks are awarded for each question paper for each correct answer.
