The process of constable recruitment (UP Police Constable Recruitment 2022) has started in Uttar Pradesh. This recruitment has been done by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board to fill more than 26000 posts. According to the notification released by the UPPRPB board on the official website, online applications will be accepted till January 27. The exam date will be announced later.

UP Police Recruitment Process

Applicants will have to take this exam offline, in which objective type questions will be asked. Shortlisted candidates will have to go through Documents Verification Process, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The final result will be released on the basis of the performance of the applicants in these examinations.

UP Police Constable Exam Pattern

– This test will be offline and will have objective type multiple choice.

There will be 150 multiple choice questions in the exam, each question will carry 2 marks, totaling 300 marks.

In the exam, 38 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, 37 questions from General Hindi, 38 questions from Numerical and Mental Ability, 37 questions from Mental Ability, IQ and Reasoning Ability.

General Knowledge and Numerical and Mental Ability will be of 76-76 marks and General Hindi and Mental Ability, IQ and Reasoning Ability will be of 74-74 marks.

There will be negative marking of 0.5 marks for wrong answer.

– This exam will be of 02 hours.
