UPPSC PCS Mains admit card 2022 released at uppsc.up.nic.in, check exam dates, pattern and other imp info

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit card of Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Main) Exam 2021. Candidates who had qualified in the UP PCS Preliminary Exam 2021 can now check and download their admit card (UPPSC PCS Mains admit card 2022) from the official website of the commission, uppsc.up.nic.in.

UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021 will be conducted on 23rd, 24th, 25th and 27th March 2022. The exam will be conducted in three districts- Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. The exam will be conducted in two shifts from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Actually, the UPPPSC PCS Main exam was earlier scheduled to be held in January but was postponed due to the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 7688 candidates are likely to appear in the UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021, who had qualified in the preliminary exam.

Know How to Download UPPSC PCS Admit Card
Step 1: First of all visit the official website of UPPSC, uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step 2: On the home page, ‘Admit Card :- CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD FOR ADVT. NO. Click on the link ‘A-1/E-1/2021 COMBINED STATE/UPPER SUBORDINATE SERVICES (M) EXAM-2021’.
Step 3: Submit by entering your registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code.
Step 4: Your ‘UPPSC PCS Mains admit card’ will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and take a printout and keep it with you.

UPSC PCS 2021 Exam Date and Subject
23 March – General Hindi (in 1st shift) and Essay test (in 2nd shift)
March 24 – General Studies I (in the first shift) and General Studies II (in the second shift)
March 25 – General Studies III (in the first shift) and General Studies IV (in the second shift)
March 27 – Elective Subject Paper – I (1st Shift) and Elective Paper II (Second Shift)

Exam Pattern
The Secretary said that all the question papers of all the optional subjects of this examination will have 2 sections. In which it is mandatory for the candidates to solve question number 1 from section 1 and question number 5 from section 2 and in both the question papers of Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit subjects, special instructions will be given in the language of the concerned subject as well as in the English language.

Selection Process
UPPSC PCS 2021 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a three-stage selection process – Preliminary, Main and Personality Test. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will appear for the UPPSC main exam which will be a written test followed by a viva-voce or personality test round.
