Today is the last chance to submit applications for UPSC Civil Services exam 2022. Candidates who have not yet applied for UPSC CSE 2022 can apply online today (22 February 2022) by 6 PM. To apply, visit the official websites of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. The easy way to apply can be seen below.

Total 1011 Vacancy
As per the notification released by UPSC, UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will be held on 05 June 2022. Its applications started from 02 February. Along with CSE Prelims, there is also the Indian Forest Service or IFS Prelims Application Form. Candidates who qualify in UPSC Prelims Exam will be called for Main Exam. A total of 1011 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. These include 150 vacancies of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) Group A.

Learn how to apply?
First of all visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in. On the home page scroll down and click on apply online link. Application link of multiple recruitment exam will open on the screen. Here select the examination for which you want to apply and register by filling the required details. After filling the application form, upload the relevant documents. Pay the application fee and submit. Your form will be submitted. Candidates can download the confirmation page and keep its printout with them for further reference.

Here is the exam pattern
The Prelims exam consists of Paper-I and II. Objective type and multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam of 400 marks. Paper-I consists of questions from Science and Technology, History and Culture, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Environment and Ecology and subjects of national and international importance. To qualify in General Studies Paper-II, at least 33 percent marks are required. Have to qualify with marks. Keep in mind that one-third of the marks will be deducted for wrong answer as negative marking in the exam.
