Assam Police Recruitment 2021:There is good news for the candidates who are preparing for Police Recruitment. The Assam government is going to do 6000 police recruitment soon. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced this in a meeting with police officers on Wednesday (23 November 2021).

Vacancy of 6000 police posts will be filled in five commando battalions including the state police department. The recruitment of Police Sub-Inspector (Police SI Jobs) will also be done. The bumper police recruitment notification (Police Recruitment 2021 Notification) is expected to be issued by next week. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of Assam Police Department assampolice.gov.in for latest updates.

The Chief Minister of Assam wrote on his official Twitter account that, ‘With the aim of strengthening our police infrastructure, the key to the security and development of our society, we have decided to take several corrective measures in the review meeting held at @assampolice HQ .’ At the same time, he has talked about 1,000 new quarters for the police, upgradation of the Director General of Police and Commissioner’s offices.

CM tweeted that, many other important decisions were taken in the review meeting like completing document verification within 30 days. Apart from this, a new SOP related to passport, post mortem report, accident report will be issued soon. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also announced that the investigation would be started within 24 hours of the first information report (FIR) being filed.
