Advertisement number 02/2022 has been issued for more than 6000 vacancies in Senior Secondary Schools under the Education Department of Bihar Government. Online applications have started from 5th March 2022 (Saturday). Candidates who have the required qualification and eligibility can apply through online mode till 28 March 2022. This recruitment drive has been run to fill a total of 6421 vacancies on the post of Head Master. Of these, 2571 seats are reserved for general category, EWS 639 seats, OBC 769 seats, EBC 1157 seats, BC women 192 seats, SC 1027 seats and ST 66 seats.

Who can apply?
Must be Post Graduate with at least 50% marks from recognized university. B.Ed, B.Ed., or B.Sc. from recognized institute. Must have obtained ED degree. Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam held on or after 2012. Candidate must be a citizen of India and resident of Bihar State.

Age Range
Talking about the age limit, the eligible applicants should be at least 31 years and maximum 47 years as on 1st August 2021. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms. For more details read the notification given below carefully.

Application Fee for BPSC Head Master Recruitment
General, OBC and other state candidates will have to pay Rs 750 as application fee. The application fee for SC, ST and PH candidates is Rs 200. Whereas female candidate (Bihar) will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200.

Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of written test only. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of highest marks obtained. No interview will be conducted. The written test will be of 2 hours in which total 150 questions will be asked, each question will be of one mark. There will be 100 questions from General Studies and 50 questions from B.Ed.
