The committee had sought online complaints from candidates regarding RRB NTPC result and Group D (Level-1) recruitment process. Around 3 lakh candidates have expressed their problems and suggestions by emailing rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in. There were massive protests in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar regarding the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) NTPC Examination-2021. The Railway Minister tweeted, “The High Powered Committee has received about 3 lakh representations, which have been analyzed within a few days and RRB will notify the solution in a few days.”

Sources said the “solution” would probably be a review of the entire exam as per the demand of the protesting candidates. Any change has to be notified by RBI. It is noteworthy that last month, the Railways postponed the examination due to the demonstrations and formed a committee to review the complaints. The candidates are protesting against the two-tier examination for final selection and claiming to have been “cheated” by those who appeared and passed the computer-based test released on January 15.

It is worth noting that about 1.25 crore candidates have applied for 35 thousand posts of level two to six. The candidates allege that the exam pattern has been designed in such a way that the higher education candidates are benefitted while the post requires lesser qualification.
