General Duty (GD) – 40 Posts
Technical (Engineering & Electrical) Officer – 10 Posts
Vacancies are available for male candidates only.

Who can apply?
General Duty (GD): Graduate degree from any recognized university with at least 60% marks. Apart from this, one must have secured at least 60 percent marks in both Maths and Physics together up to class 12th (Intermediate).

For Technical Post: Engineering Degree with 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Along with this, candidates who have passed class 12th (Intermediate) with an aggregate of 60 percent marks in both Maths and Physics can apply.

Age Range
The age limit of the eligible candidates for both the branches is minimum 20 years and maximum 24 years (born between 1 July 1997 to 30 June 2001). Upper age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of two stages. Candidates will be shortlisted for preliminary selection which will consist of Mental Ability Test or Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT). Candidates who qualify in the prelims will be called for the final selection, which will be held tentatively from the end of August or the beginning of September to the beginning of November 2021. Final selection will be based on merit list on qualifying in Psychological Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Finally the candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV).

ICG Recruitment 2021 Admit Card and Exam Date
ICG Assistant Commandant 01/2022 Batch GD and Preliminary Selection Board (PSB) Admit Card for Technical (Engineering & Electrical) Posts will be uploaded on official website on 20th July. The recruitment exam is expected to be held in July or August 2021.
