The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service Selection Board (RSMSSB) is going to conduct the Forest Guard and Forester Recruitment Exam 2020 in October 2022. A total of 1128 vacancies will be filled for Forest Guard (Vanrakshak) and Forester (Forester) posts through this recruitment drive. But before the exam good news is coming for the candidates. It is being told that the Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission may increase the number of vacant posts involved in this recruitment before the examination.

It is being said in the media reports that more than 100 vacancies can be increased in the Forest Guard and Forest posts of Rajasthan Forest Department. The report that surfaced said that the state government has approved the increase of 2771 posts in Forester-Vanrakshak and Village Development Officer (VDO) recruitment. The board has released the classification by increasing 1500 posts in VDO Recruitment. Now the Forest Guard and Forester Recruitment will be revised. However, no notice related to the increased recruitment has been issued by the board so far.

Forest Guard and Forester Recruitment Notification The total number of vacancies in the Forest Department recruitment notification released in November 2020 is 1128, including 87 vacancies for Forester and 1041 vacancies for Forest Guard. On the other hand, it is believed that the total number of revised recruitment can be made up to 1259 posts. That is, 131 vacancies can be increased further. Revised recruitment notice may be released soon on the official website. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the website for the latest updates.

Let us inform that earlier 3896 posts were to be recruited in Rajasthan VDO Recruitment, in which 1500 vacancies have been increased. After the revised recruitment of VDO, the total number of vacant posts has been increased to 5396. The board issued a notice saying that 4557 posts for Village Development Officer i.e. VDO will be for non-scheduled area and 839 posts for scheduled area. Rajasthan Village Development Officer Main Exam will be held in May 2022.
