According to the UPPCL job notification, a total of 25 vacancies will be filled for Junior Engineer (Civil) post. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 25 March 2022. Who can apply?
Candidates having Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized board can apply. If we talk about age limit then eligible applicants age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2022. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms.

Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Computer Based Test (CBT) examination. The exam will be conducted in Varanasi, Lucknow, Agra and Meerut. The exam may be conducted in the last date week of May. The admit card will be issued on the official website a few days before the exam.

Application fee
General, OBC and EWS candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 1180. Whereas SC, ST candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 826 and Divyang candidates Rs 12.

The selected candidates for the post of Junior Engineer Trainee in UPPCL will be given a salary of Rs 44,900 per month under the 7th Pay Commission. Apart from this, the benefit of applicable allowances will also be available. For more details read the notification carefully.
