The Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (General Selection) Main Examination (UPSC PCS) 2021 of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will be conducted from 23 March. Earlier this exam was to be held from January 28 to January 31. But it was postponed due to Kovid. A total of 7688 candidates are likely to appear in the UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2021, who had qualified in the preliminary exam.

UPSC PCS 2021 Exam Date and Subject
The commission’s secretary Jagdish told that the examination of General Hindi and Essay on 23 March, General Studies first and General Studies second question paper on 24 March, General Studies third question paper and General Studies fourth question paper on 25 March and elective subject first and second question paper. The second question paper exam will be held on March 27.

UPSC PCS Exam Timings
According to the commission’s secretary Jagdish, the examination will be conducted in two sessions. According to the new schedule, the examination of the first session will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the examination of the second session will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam will be conducted at centers located in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad districts.

Exam Pattern
The Secretary said that all the question papers of all the optional subjects of this examination will have 2 sections. In which it is mandatory for the candidates to solve question number 1 from section 1 and question number 5 from section 2 and in both the question papers of Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit subjects, special instructions will be given in the language of the concerned subject as well as in the English language.

Around 7 lakh candidates had applied
Let us inform that the UPPSC PCS Preliminary Exam Result was declared on 01 December 2021. 6 lakh 91 thousand 173 candidates had registered for the preliminary examination, out of which only 3 lakh 21 thousand 273 candidates had reached the examination. Out of these, 7 thousand 688 candidates were shortlisted for the main examination. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully.
